In Friday’s series finale with San Antonio, the RoughRiders jumped to an early 3-0 lead, but watched the Missions storm back and score eight unanswered runs.
The game tipped permanently in the Missions’ favor in the fourth inning. Frisco trailed 5-3 at the start of the frame. Jon Edwards, pitching in relief of ‘Riders starter Kyle Lotzkar, walked the first two batters he faced and gave up a ground rule double that put San Antonio up 6-3.
After an intentional walk loaded the bases with one out, the ‘Riders had a chance to turn a double play to end the inning. Instead, an error on Rougned Odor led to two more runs for the Missions, who coasted to an 8-3 win and took the series.
Enjoy the highlights and thanks for tuning in.
