It may be a good thing the ‘Riders are hitting the road for a seven-game road trip. The RoughRiders own a better road record in the second half than at home. Frisco is just 16-15 at Dr Pepper Ballpark in the second half, a mark exasperated by the San Antonio Missions, who took three games off the RoughRiders in a four-game series. Star of the Game: C Jorge Alfaro – 2/4, R, 2B, 2 RBI, GIDP
Forget Star of the Game. Jorge was the Star of the Series. The backstop batted .333 (6-for-18) with four RBI and multiple hits in three games. Jorge has reached safely in 12-of-15 games at the Double-A level and has knocked in 12 runs over that span.
