The magical season for Isiah Kiner-Falefa just continues.

Earlier today, the MLB Players Alumni Association named the former Riders utility player as the Rangers recipient of the 2018 Heart and Hustle Award winner. The award recognizes players who show commitment, passion, desire, good work ethic and more as it relates to approaching their craft.

The honor is no surprise. Kiner-Falefa had a top-notch work ethic during his two years here in Frisco and was extremely dedicated to mastering his skillset, which included the addition of catching at the start of 2016.

Each club will have a winner and one overall winner will be selected in November. Even if Kiner-Falefa doesn’t rise to the very top, today’s honor is yet another special achievement in a memorable year.
